Describing the natural history and laws of Gaia.
When the universe 'awoke,' there were created the eight sacred Djinn-
Mercury (Wind)
Venus (Light)
Gaia (Mana)
Mars (Fire)
Jupiter (Earth)
Saturn (Lightning)
Uranus (Darkness)
Neptune (Water)
Each of the Djinn was given an 'elemental affinity.'
Directed by some as of yet unknown being, they created many worlds to be seeded with the unknowable and unfathomable force, 'life.'
Their greatest was that called 'Gaia,' named after the greatest of the Djinn.
The planet in its pure form was a massive sphere of pure elemental energy, each element locked in eternal conflict with one another, yet using each other to survive. If one of the elements was to triumph over the others, the whole planet would be consumed in chaos.
So the Djinn were commanded to find a caretaker to control each element so that it would not destroy the others. They attempted, and failed, to create a being in their own likeness. This being of impure energy was named '

luto.'
After the conflict with Pluto, the Djinn made it so that each element was equal to each other, forming the physical planet. Each element was overseen by a being of enormous power and size.
Roc, the Great Bird (Wind)
The Moon Spirit, guardian of the heavens (Light)
Yggdrasil, the Gaia Tree (Mana)
Hosi, the fire dragon (Fire)
Grasa, master of the underground (Earth)
Danbu, the Thunder Snake (Lightning)
Shademaker, the Decayed one (Darkness)
